Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Aviation equipment manufacturer Zodiac Galleys Europe is to expand its production and to create 200 new jobs in the Plzen site during 2017. The company, which currently employs around 1,000 people, is planning to make over 3,000 aircraft galleys for Airbus and a turnover of CZK 3bn (EUR 110.99mn USD 122.67mn) is expected for the for fiscal year 2016.Zodiac Galleys Europe is part of the French Zodiac Aerospace and has been operating in the city of Plzen since 2001.
Worldwide, Zodiac Aerospace is located on 100 sites and employs 35,000 people.
