Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Spanish automotive company Industrias Alegre has announced that it will create 160 new jobs at its new production facility in Biskupice Podgórne near Wrocław (Tarnogbrzeg Special Economic Zone, Poland) by the end of 2016. In total, the company plans to create 300 jobs by the end of 2018. The company is mainly looking for industrial process operators, both experienced workers and people without experience in the industry.
Industrias Alegre was founded in 1953 in Valenzia, Spain; the company produces vehicle’s interior components (interior trims, instrument panels, plastic components for seats, consoles). Nowadays the company supplies its products to over 100 companies in 20 countries.
