Description

Slovenian Steel Industry (Slovenska industrija jekla, SIJ), the largest Slovenian metallurgist producer located in Jesenice (Gorenjska region) and owned by Russian corporation Koks, will create 150 new jobs by the end of this year. In a survey carried out by the Employment Service of Slovenia, the management revealed that SIJ will mostly employ new workers in steel production as a result of new investments. The company will provide training at the workplace for professions in shortage in the field of mechanical engineering, metallurgy, and electronics. In 2015 SIJ employed 3,126 people.
