Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Outsourcing services company Transcom WorldWide Poland has announced that it will create 150 jobs at its new contact centre in Białystok by the end of 2016. In total, the company plans to create 250 jobs. The company will provide training for new employees.
Transcom WorldWide was established in 1995 in Sweden; it has 52 contact centres in 21 countries. Transcom Worldwide has been operating in Poland since 2003; the company has units in two locations (Olsztyn and Gdańsk) employing 1,000 people.
