Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On behalf of Raynair, the company Groundlink will look for 300 cabin crew members in Portugal, during July. Since 2008, Groundlink has already selected near 8000 Portuguese staff to work for Ryanair.
Trade unions highlights that working conditions are not comparable between different companies and there are cases where the applicant has to pay for the whole process, which can mean several thousand Euro. In total, the candidates have to pay EUR 3,799 without having any assurance of being recruited by Ryanair.
