Frozen Fish International, producer of frozen foods and subsidiary of the Iglo Foods Group Limited, announced plans to cut 79 jobs at its site in Bremerhaven. The company wants to reduce its production line and focus on its core products. A total of 21 workers of the affected employees have temporary contracts. The executive board and the works council will negotiate a social compensation plan as well as the terms of the restructuring.
Frozen Fish International currently employs about 760 employees.
