Description
The Austrian manufacturer of wood-working machinery, Felder, announced plans to invest in the expansion of its production site in Hall (Tyrol) creating 100 new jobs. During the upcoming five years the family-run business will invest €60 million in increasing their production area. This step is also seen as a commitment to the production site and the company's headquarter in Austria. Additionally, part of the investment will also be used to improve the company's transnational distributive network. Currently 95% of all their machinery is sold abroad (predominantly to other EU countries). Felder, which was founded 60 years ago, employs around 550 staff at the moment.
