Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Mondelēz International, producer of confectionery, food and beverages, has announced that it will create more jobs than initially declared in 2015 at its new research and development centre (RD&Q) in Bielany Wrocławskie, located in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, Poland. Currently, the company plans to create in total 250 positions meaning that 125 additional jobs will be created. The company is to invest USD 15 million (EUR 13.11 million). The centre is expected to be operational by the end of 2016. The centre will develop new products, design new packaging and analyse consumer preferences. Mondelēz International (former Kraft Foods) is one of the biggest global confectionery producer.
