German discount supermarket chain Lidl has announced that it will create 220 jobs at its new distribution centre in Gródków, Silesian Voivodeship. The logistic centre is expected to be operational in February 2017. The company plans to invest PLN 119 million (EUR 27.1 million USD 31 million) in the construction of the 45,000 square metres facility.
Currently, the company has over 500 stores and 8 distribution centres across Poland and employs about 15,000 people.
