Description
The aerospace equipment group Zodiac Aerospace has announced to recruit about 150 employees by 2017 in its site of Issoudin. According the union's delegate (CFE-CGC), the plant has already recruited 150 employees in 2015 and expect to recruit 150 new employees in 2017 due to an increase in the number of orders, and the relocation of activities transferred from the United States. Zodiac Seats France is a manufacturer of a comprehensive range of products as economy class passenger seats, business and first class passenger seats, crew seats and helicopter seats. Zodiac Aerospace has 35,000 employees worldwide and a turnover of about €5 billion. The company is having difficulty keeping its seat activities in line with the increasing activities of Airbus, its main customer. In January, Airbus strongly warned Zodiac that delays in aircraft seat delivery were would not be tolerable, and that Zodiac has to do everything it can to remedy the situation.
