Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Anglo-Dutch multinational oil and gas company , commonly known as Shell, has announced that it will create 100 new jobs at its Shell Business Operations Kraków in the Kraków Special Economic Zone, Poland. The company is looking for highly qualified financial specialists and HR specialists. The company has also revealed that 250 positions have been created at the centre since January 2016.
Currently, the Kraków centre is the eighth such centre of Shell providing services such as: financial operations, customer services, HR services, order-to-delivery, contracting and procurement, IT services. The centre provides services in 17 languages, including Hungarian, Turkish and Dutch. The unit employs over 2,300 people.
