Description
Amazon is to hire 500 new recruits by 2018. The roles, based in Dublin, will be in software development, network development, data centre engineering, systems engineering, optical deployment engineering, as well as jobs for security specialists, big data specialists, DevOps engineers, and a range of technical management positions.
Amazon already employs 1,700 people at its two sites in Dublin and Cork. The company first set up in Dublin in 2004.
In 2014 Amazon announced an expansion of 300 people; this recruitment was completed earlier than expected.
