The Commercial Court has agreed upon the take-over of the transport company Bomex by Transport Marcel Garnier (TMG). According the recovery plan agreed, the new owner will keep 310 of the 400 employees and seven sites. The 90 job cuts will affect some administrative staff at Saint Gereon (10 jobs) and drivers operating in the three agencies that will be closed in Vesoul (20 jobs), Le Havre (40 jobs) and Cognac (20 jobs). The group Transport Marcel Garnier, has an annual turnover of €70 million and employs 700 employees (582 full-time equivalent) distributed between the transport of goods, order collection and logistics. Bomex, which is headquartered near Ancenis (Loire-Atlantique), was in receivership since 29 December 2014. In April 2015, Bomex had decided a restructuring plan that would lead to 112 positions being cut.
