The job cuts, which are envisaged in the global reorganisation plan announced on 19 April 2016, are expected to be implemented by the end of June 2016.

In Romania, Intel Corporation will keep the centre Wind Riverin Galati (Galati County) for software developing. Wind River was purchased by Intel Corporation in 2009 and it’s an independent company. The trade union has so far not reacted to the announcement.
