Germany-based automotive supplier Witte Automotive is to create up to 500 new jobs with the opening of a new site in Ostrov on 13 May 2016. The plant, which makes outer door handles, currently employs 100 people.
The second production site (besides the Nejdek plant) in the Czech Republic with an investment of EUR 50 million represents the largest investment in the company’s history.
The integrated site comprises 30,000 square meters where it combines several production steps: plastic injection molding, paint shop and assembly shop. This advanced coating technology is unique in the world.
