Description
French sports retailer Decathlon creates 700 new jobs by developing a new logistics centre at Garbe Logistik-Park Westfalenhütte in Dortmund. With a surface of 29,500 square metres the hall will be the second logistic centre of Decathlon in Germany. The building will be finished in December 2016 and will help to supply Northern German stores of Decathlon and manage the company's e-commerce logistics. The company currently runs 30 stores throughout Germany and a further six stores are to be opened in 2016.
Decathlon, headquartered in Villeneuve d'Ascq (France), currently employs 70,000 employees worldwide.
