Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish furniture company Meble Negro has announced that it will create 150 jobs at its newly opened production facility in Czarne in the SÅ‚upsk Special Economic Zone, Poland. The site will specialise in production of upholstered furniture. The value of the investment has amounted to PLN 30 million (EUR 6.83 million USD 7.75 million). The investor has built a production hall and warehouse equipped with modern machinery.
Meble Negro has been operating since 2002; currently, the company has two production units located in Czarne and Chojnice.
