European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sellier & Bellot, a firearms ammunition manufacturer, starts recruiting up to 250 new employees. Job creation is associated with the construction of a new manufacturing hall to be completed in June/December 2016 with an investment of CZK 2 bilion (EUR 74 million). Company's sales are expected to grow from CZK 3.5 billion last year up to CZK 4 billion (EUR 148 million) this year. However, drop in business may arise due to the EU directive restricting the possession of firearms.
Sellier & Bellot, a subsidiary of the Brazilian company CBC, currently employs 1,505 people in the Vlašim site.
