Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German producer of hygiene and care products Dr. Schumacher has announced that it will increase its employment capacity by 13.6% at its production facility in Lubań (Kamienna Góra Special Economic Zone, Poland). The restructuring programme involves the creation of 90 new jobs. The company has invested PLN 150 million (EUR 34.16 million USD 39.37 million) in the plant in Poland.
Dr. Schumacher is one of the leading European manufacturer of disinfection, hygiene and care products. Currently, the company employs 660 people in the Lubań factory.
