Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Local subsidiary of US process management solutions firm Emerson is to create up to 250 jobs at its sites in Oradea and Cluj-Napoca. Emerson employs up to 2,200 people in Cluj-Napoca, where about 200 positions are currently available. The site in Oradea has a workforce of 150 and it has some 50 open positions both plant and office-based.
Emerson has been operating in Romania since 2006, when the Cluj Napoca site was opened.
