Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German truck and bus manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus Poland has announced that it will create 300 new jobs at its production facility in Starachowice by the end of 2016. The company is looking for welders, paint shop employees, fitters, electricians and electronic technicians. The restructuring programme is associated with relocation of the production from PoznaĆ to Starachowice and expansion of the Starachowice plant . Currently, the company is building Customer Service Center, office area, a bus washer, a petrol station and other investment-related facilities. The factory complex is expected to be fully operational in summer 2016.
MAN has been operating in Poland since 1996. Currently, the factory in Starachowice employs 2,000 people.
