Global financial consulting services provider State Street Corporation has announced that it will create more jobs than initially declared in 2015 at its new financial center in Gdańsk. Currently, the company plans to create in total 600 positions by the end of 2016 meaning that 300 additional employees will be hired. The company is looking for financial specialists with knowledge of foreign languages, especially English. The investment will result in 1,200 jobs in total within 2-3 years.
State Street Corporation has been operating in Poland since 2007; it has three offices in Kraków. Currently, the company employs 2,700 people in Poland. State Street Corporation has offices in 29 countries and employs almost 30,000 people around the world.
