The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Finnish telecommunications company Anvia has initiated employer-employee negotiations aiming to cut 70 job positions. The internal restructuring is due to the company's diminished profitability partly through cost-saving schemes and therefore lowered demand from the public sector. In total the negotiations concern 350 employees, employees working with for example customer service are not affected by the redundancies.
