Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German-based provider of IT services Wincor Nixdorf has announced that it will create 300 jobs at its new unit in Szczecin. The centre will provide IT solutions and technical support. The company is looking for technical support staff with knowledge of foreign languages, especially German.
The new office is a part of company’s international customer service centre network. Currently, Wincor Nixdorf has five such centres: two of them are located in Poland, and remaining three centres are located in Mexico, Malaysia and Venezuela. In Poland, the company has also three offices in Wrocław, Kraków and Katowice. Wincor Nixdorf has been operating for 60 years and provides its services to retail banks and the retail industry.
