European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Vilniaus vandenys, the largest Lithuanian water supply company is to dismiss around 200 employees in Vilnius by 1 June, 2016. On 18 March 2016, Vilniaus vandenys announced that the company is undergoing restructuring and will reduce the number of employees from 945 to 745. The company has already handed out notices of dismissals to all 945 employees. According to the management, all employees will have to undergo the selection process and around 745 of them having the most relevant qualifications will be rehired.
