Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish company Citronex has announced that it will create 200 new jobs at its greenhouses in Bogatynia by the end of 2016. The company plans also extend its facility by 20 ha in 2016. The investment in Bogatynia has been the subject of complaints from the Czech Republic as the glasshouses near to the boarder cast too much light.
Citronex was founded in 1998. The company operates in the following sectors: import and distribution of bananas, production and distribution of tomatoes, transport and freight forwarding, truck washes, petrol stations, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets.
