Description
German regional broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) plans to cut some 450 jobs in order to reduce its costs by 2025. The job cuts will affect employees in television production. Whilst the broadcaster has been undergoing restructuring since 2013, the Federal Audit Office urged to reduce its deficit of over €100 million accumulated over the last decade. BR currently employs over 3,000 people.
