European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Danish distributor of gas and electricity, Dong Energy, are to shed 280 jobs, either through natural wastage or direct dismissals. This will be settled after the obligatory negotiations between the management and the employees' representatives. The names of those that will be made redundant will be known at the end of March. The redundancies are due to a 'slim-lining' of the company, which is partly owned by the state and works under PSO.
