Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Swiss pet food producer Nestlé Purina PetCare, a subsidiary of Nestlé, has announced that it will create 300 new jobs at its facility in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska by the end of 2016. The restructuring programme is associated with the plans to expand the production. The company is mainly looking for machine operators and forklift drivers. The factory has been operating since March 2015 and currently employs 500 people. This factory is the first one of Nestle Purina’s plants in Poland and the third one in Central Europe.
