Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
RWE, a gas and electricity supplier, is to create 100 new positions in the Moravian-Silesian region during 2016 as part of a strategy to further improve customer services. The company is looking primarily for operators who will be working in two call centres in Ostrava and Opava.
RWE Customer Services currently employs a total of 780 people, of which 500 are employed in the Ostrava region.
