General Electric has initiated employer-employee negotiations aiming to cut 76 positions in Finland. This internal restructuring is part of the large scale restructuring of General electric following the takeover of Alstom. In total General electric aims to cut 6500 jobs in Europe. The internal restructuring in Finland will affect GE Power, GE Energy management and GE Renewable Energy. GE Healthcare, the largest unit in Finland with 750 employees, will not be affected by the restructuring.
