Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Property maintenance company Homeserve has announced plans to create 160 new jobs across its network. The new jobs follow the take over of Nottingham-based Home Energy Services. The positions will be across all the company's divisions including plumbing and heating engineering. It is understood that 30 of the jobs will be located in the North West of the country, though there is no information about the locations of the remaining jobs. The timetable for the creation of these new positions has not been reported.
