European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Karsit Group, a Czech producer of car parts, is to expand its Jaroměř site and create 300 new jobs during 2016.
According to the data of the Automotive Industry Association, 156,000 people are working in the Czech automotive industry. The average wage in this segment is significantly higher than the national average - a difference of up to 23 %. Thanks to the recovery of the European market, car makers have increased their production. The latest macroeconomic data in recent months indicate that this trend will continue and the automotive industry is expected to increase its number of workers.
