Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German logistics company Fiege has announced that it will create 150 new jobs at its new logistics centre in Goleniów (Goleniów Industrial Park, Poland). The company has already started the recruitment process of warehouse staff, warehouse managers, distribution managers as well as HR staff.
Fiege was founded in 1873. Nowadays, Fiege operates in 17 countries and employs approximately 11,000 people worldwide. The company has been operating in Poland since 1997 and currently employs 700 people at its four locations: Mszczonów near Warszawa, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Dąbrowa Górnicza and Leżajsk.
