Description
Swedish domestic appliances manufacturer Electrolux has announced that it will create 100 new jobs at its factory in Świdnica (Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, Poland) by the end of 2016. The company plans to invest PLN 45 million (EUR 10.06 million, USD 10.94 million) in the expansion of the factory; new production hall, warehouse, facility for employees and conference room will be built.
Electrolux has four production units in Poland: Żarów (production of dishwashers), Oława (production of washing machines), Świdnica (production of ovens) and Siewierz (production of tumble-dryers). Currently, the factory in Świdnica employs 1,200 people.
