Description

Online retailer Amazon has announced plans to increase its Uk workforce by 2,500 by the end of 2016.  When these jobs are filled the company's UK workforce will top the 14,000 mark. The jobs will be added across all areas of the business including at the 10 warehouses which the company currently operates. New posts will also be added at a new London head office, which is still under construction. Jobs will be created at the three research and development centres which are based in Cambridge, Edinburgh and London. Positions for customer services staff will also be available at the site in Edinburgh.
