Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The mutual accountability group CER France has decided to recruit 100 employees in its subsidiary Vigi Corp in 2016. CER France bought Vigi Corp in September 2015 to reinforce its adaptation to the digitalisation of its activities. Vigicorp had 25 employees in September 2015 and increased its workforce to 30 in January 2016 and, according its management, intends to recruit 100 employees in 2016 – developers, graphic designers, creators of mobile applications – for its site in Saint-Herblain near Nantes.
