Sports car manufacturer McLaren has announced plans to create 250 new jobs, which will be based at its site in Woking, Surrey. The jobs will staff a second shift, which is being brought in to cope with demand for the luxury cars. Roles which are being recruited include production, quality and logistics positions. The majority of the new jobs will be in production where 500 of the company's current 1,500 employees work. It is being reported that the second shift will begin production in February.
