Description
Austrian A-Heat Group is investing in a new thermal water spa facility in Bucharest, which is to create about 200 new jobs. The plan is to make Bucharest Therme the biggest thermal recreational centre in Europe. The project started in 2013 and the thermal centre is expected to open later this year. The initial investment was estimated at 30 million EUR but this will increase to over 50 million. It also benefited from Romanian financial state aid amounting to 6,64 million EUR. According to official sources the project is expected to generate approximately ten million EUR in taxes over the next five years.
