Car manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroën Slovakia in Trnava is to create 800 new jobs in 2016. The business expansion is attributed to the production of a new Citroën model that will require the launch of a fourth production shift in the factory. The production of the new model is scheduled to start by the end of 2016. The factory in Trnava currently employs about 3,500 workers and manufactured approximately 300,000 cars in 2015. According to the Director of HR department, Lubomir Kollar, 530 of new jobs will be for operators and 225 for highly qualified workers. The remainder will be management and mid-level technicians.
