Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Faist Mekatronic, supplier of telecom infrastructure and automotive components and part of the British Group Faist, plans to create 200 new jobs this year at the factory in Oradea, which employs currently 1,400 people. Following last year investments, the production capacity has increased by 30% at the Oradea factory. Faist Mekatronic Oradea produces aluminium castings for both mobile infrastructure for Ericsson and the automotive industry.
Mr. Remus Cotut, General Manager of Faist Mekatronic said that the company plans to to invest around 10 million euro with a view to creating their own moulding equipment for developing products and investing in a ward assembly unit.
