Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish railway infrastructure maintenance company PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe (PKP PLK) has announced that it will create 130 jobs at the Centralne Laboratorium JakoĊci (Central Quality Lab) in Warszawa (75 jobs are expected to be created by the end of 2015).

The laboratory will be divided into five different specialised units, including surface diagnostics, aggregates, concrete, soil and rail diagnostics. The lab will be supported by 12 mobile labs which will gather on-site samples.
