Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The automotive equipment supplier Faurecia has announced that it will create 175 new jobs at its factory of automotive accessories in Gniewomierz, located in the Legnica Special Economic Zone. The company has already launched a new line for production of wooden decorative accessories for car interiors. Faurecia has been operating in Poland since 1996 and has facilities located in four Polish cities: Grójec near Warszawa, Wałbrzych, Legnica and Gorzów Wielkopolski. The company has been operating in the Legnica Special Economic Zone since 2001; the company employs almost 900 people in two locations: Legnica and Gniewomierz.
