Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Airline company SAS Group is recruiting 500 cabin crew employees during 2016 to be stationed at Arlanda in Sweden (300 positions) but also in Copenhagen (100 positions) and in Oslo (100 positions). The company is expanding after 15 years of internal restructuring and job cuts and will launch a number of new long distance flights during 2016. The new long distance routes are part of the airline strategy to counterbalance losses on short term flights caused by the low-cost airlines' competition. SAS has recently recruited 150 employees in Ireland.
