Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Rohde & Schwarz Czech Republic, a Germany-based manufacturer of test and measurement electronic equipment and devices for wireless communication, is to create 100 new jobs in the Czech Republic. The company has already started the recruitment for its new manufacturing hall which is being built at its Vimperk site. The site currently employs 600 people. The company is looking for testing engineers, technicians, painters and other production workers. In September 2015, the firm opened its own school to educate job candidates. Worldwide, the company has a total workforce of more than 9,000 employees in over 70 countries.
