Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
IT company Talentsoft, a start-up created in 2007 and specialised in HR management software, has announced it will reinforce its workforce with 120 new recruits by the end of 2016. The new jobs will be created in France but also in other countries such as the United-States, the United Kingdom and Singapore. With a turnover of €30 million and 300 employees (including a half working in R&D activities), Talentsoft expects to have a turnover of about €100 million by 2018. The bank Goldman Sachs has recently taken a shareholding in the company of up to €25 million to finance its worldwide expansion.
