Description
The Czech Ministry of the Interior plans to hire 1,123 new employees in 2016 as a result of rising levels of immigration. More police officers and administrative workers are being hired to strengthen the police force and the Department for Asylum and Migration Policy. As reported, the Ministry may further increase recruitment to up to 2,500 new workers in 2016 and plans to increase the budget for salaries by more than CZK 2 billion (EUR 74 million).
