The media group TMG is closing its printing company in Alkmaar and reducing printing capacity in Amsterdam, resulting in the loss of 168 jobs. The company has stated it will refocus its activities from printing to information provision due to the rapidly changing media landscape and the growing importance of digital media in relation to printed materials. The company currently employs 250 people.
