Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The local government company "Warmia i Mazury", which is responsible for the management of the regional airport Olsztyn-Mazury, has announced that will create 110 jobs by the end of 2015. The company is looking for airport security guards, firefighters and technical maintenance staff. New employees will receive special training. The airport is located in Szymany near Szczytno and is expected to be operational by the end of December 2015. It has been created on the site of the former military airport, and this investment has cost PLN 205 mn (EUR 48.27mn USD 54.13mn), out of which 76% was financed by European Union funds.
