European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish tool manufacturer Sandvik Coromant has issued redundancy notices to 150 employees. This includes 80 jobs in Gimo, 55 in Sandviken, and 15 in Stockholm. The cuts are in response to the market situation and a need to reduce costs. Negotiations have begun with union representatives.
